Interstate Custom Kitchen & Bath, Inc. ("Interstate," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit interstatekitchens.com (the "Site") or get in touch with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version: we collect what you give us through our contact, quote, and job application forms so we can respond to you, and we collect the basic technical information any website receives in order to keep the Site running and secure. We do not sell your information.

When you fill out a form on the Site, call, email, or visit our showroom, you may provide:

• Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and city or town.
• Project details such as the type of work you are interested in, your approximate budget and timeline, a description of the project.
• Employment details if you apply for a job, such as the position you are interested in, your experience and availability, your message.
• How you heard about us, if you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the Site secure and working properly. See Cookies and analytics for details.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your questions and quote requests, and schedule showroom visits or in-home consultations.
• Prepare designs, estimates, and project agreements for work you ask us to quote.
• Review job applications and contact applicants.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.

Forms and spam protection

Our contact, quote, and employment forms are delivered to our team by email. To limit automated abuse, we use a hidden field that people never see and a limit on how often the same visitor can submit a form, which relies on your IP address.

The forms do not accept file attachments at the moment. If you email us photos or a resume separately, we keep them in our email system and use them only to answer your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers or financial account details.

Cookies and analytics

The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security and performance, and it collects server logs that include IP addresses for security and traffic management. These are not used to build profiles of you.

The Site may also use privacy-respecting web analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the Site performs. If we add an analytics or advertising service that uses cookies to track you across other websites, we will update this policy to say so.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent our forms from verifying that you are a person.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver messages to us, such as Cloudflare (hosting, form protection, file storage, and email delivery).
• Trade partners we work with on your project, such as licensed plumbers and electricians, when you have asked us to quote or perform work and they need your address and project details to do it.
• Legal authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Retention and security

We keep your information as long as needed to respond to you, to carry out work you have asked us to do, to keep records of completed projects, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Uploaded files and unsuccessful job applications are kept only as long as they are needed for review.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections to the Site and private, access-controlled storage for uploads. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

• Access and correction. You can ask us what information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.
• Deletion. You can ask us to delete your information. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it or where we have done work for you.
• Opting out. If you ever receive marketing from us, you can opt out by replying or contacting us directly.
• Do Not Track. The Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because there is no industry standard for them, but we also do not track you across other sites.

To exercise any of these choices, contact us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Houzz, GuildQuality, and the Better Business Bureau, and may embed a Google map of our showroom. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before providing them with personal information.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Please check back periodically.
